Advertising & Visual Merchandising

What type of Advertising is right for me?

There are basically two types of advertising–brand advertising and direct response advertising.

Brand advertising is used by large companies to build and increase awareness of their brand. For a small business, brand advertising is usually a waste of money.

The purpose of direct response advertising is to produce a clear response and if you're in business, that response should be an immediate purchase or an enquiry that will eventually lead to a purchase.

How do I get the most out of my Visual Merchandising?

Branding your shop front or retail outlet is essential if you want to increase traffic through the front door as well as display your products to their best advantage. Visual Merchandising often stops short at the shop window display. To be really effective, the Visual Merchandising should flow through the entire shop interior. From tickets and shelf displays to stands and the interior fit-out.

By combining lighting, graphics, spatial arrangement, display units, props and theming in a dynamic and cohesive way, you can ensure your branding is carried through from the front door to the back wall.
